We value 3 core principles of spiritual formation; to Gather, to Group, and to Go. We believe that at the youngest age, kids are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works that God prepared in advance for them to do.

We focus on adult leaders building relationships with students while we engage them in the truth of the gospel.

Our desire is for you to be transformed inside and out to be more like Jesus. We believe that this is best done, not alone, but in community with others as we participate together in three ways. Gather in Worship, Group in Small Group & Discipleship, and Go in Serving our community here, near and far.

“Newcomers feel welcome when first walking in the door. pfmChurch is filled with good people, great music & biblical teaching.”
— Gayle

The early church was comprised of groups. People understood that being part of a community was the best way to know Jesus. The same is true today. At pfm, we encourage your spiritual formation through three avenues: GATHER on Sunday for worship, GROUP in a small group or class to learn and connect, and GO, as an act of service, here, near, or far.

PFM Church exists to help people find, follow, and be like Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20).  We know that the church isn’t a building -- it’s a group of people on a mission to spread the Kingdom of God. Yet the building is a key asset because it serves as a main place for Spiritual formation.  For the sake of our God-given mission and by God’s grace and provision, we need to make our building as functional and inviting as possible so that more people can find, follow, and be like Jesus.

This building and property update includes the parking lot, lobby, main floor meeting room, and sanctuary.  The total budget for these updates as well as some safety/security measures is estimated at $107,500.

During the month of April 2018, pfmchurch will enter into a focused month of raising funds above our normal tithe.  Our goal is to raise $60,000 through special offerings in April and to use existing funds from 2017 to accomplish the rest. The Leadership Team and Finance Team believe that we can, through God’s blessing and the generosity of pfm, raise that amount within a month.

  • Resurface and restripe parking lot

Resurfacing preserves the parking lot for 3-5 years and helps control cracks and crumbles.  Newly painted stripes will refresh the look and will improve our first impression.

  • Remove Library for Open Lobby

Removing the walls of the adult library will open the lobby and create more room for connection on Sunday Mornings and will give more flexible gathering space for ministry events.

  • Repurpose Existing Space for Meeting Room

The current Children’s Library and Leader Resource Center will become The Upper Room, a medium-sized space for groups, classes, leader training, and as a connecting place for families of weddings and funerals hosted at the church.

  • Sanctuary Seating, Floor, Walls

Updated flexible seating in the sanctuary will provide a more welcoming and comfortable space that can be arranged according to ministry need.  Updated carpet will match existing floor covering in Lobby. Walls will be patched and painted. The room that makes the biggest impact and gets the most attention will be refreshed and maximized for many uses beyond Sunday morning.

Total Project 2018 Estimated Cost $107,500
